The BEST time of the year for business (yours and mine)

I absolutely love this time of year. Why is that?

Like you, I am returning to work. I am a freelancer and with that comes a lot of positives but it can at times be challenging. Returning fresh from the Christmas break means that I am recharged and ready to tackle the new year.

You might think that this isn’t anything special but to me, it is the single most optimistic, potential-filled point of the year. I am able to sit and analyse the last calendar year:

  • what went well?
  • what didn’t go well?
  • what common denominators are there between those events?

There is still time

This gives me a good mental picture of what to aim for in 2020 and how to have an even more positive experience. Not only that, there are 3 and a bit months of the financial year left to really make a difference.

Recharged, regrouped, refocused, targeted, and with time to do something about it.

Part of my approach this time of year is to offer existing clients a short review meeting to discuss the last year and help them plan for the year ahead. Not only does this help my clients maintain or regain momentum, but it also allows them to budget for the years activities so that they are allocated the required resources to their website and digital activities.

I’m not one for new years resolutions

It’s true. I have long given up making a long list of things to change in the new year. For me, success comes from ongoing routine reflection, iteration and improvement. Don’t get me wrong, the new year does give me a good kick up the behind, but in a way that re-engages me with existing routines which may have become broken over the last year.

When you make adaptation and improvement an ongoing part of your routine you have a much higher chance of success. That is why I love being available to my clients all year round. The digital part of your business requires ongoing care and attention to maximise its effectiveness. For those that realise business improvement is an ongoing priority I am happy to make myself available via retainer. Give me a call if you would like to know how this may benefit you over the coming year.

Time to put my money where my mouth is

Dear reader I want to help you get 2020 off to a running start. To help you squeeze the most out of 2019 I would love to help out by offering you a free digital review meeting (subject to availability). These can be carried out via Skype or phone free of charge (physical meetings are available at small charge).

Please feel free to contact me directly on 01903 527927 to discuss your plans, what went well (or less well) and I will happily help you plan for the year ahead. Every improvement we can stack up, however small can yield huge dividends over the coming year.

Just think what you could achieve if we could improve every component of your digital delivery by even a small margin.

I look forward to talking with you soon but if youre not ready for a review I recommend signing up for my mailing list. I will email you every time a new guide or article goes live on the website (most of these included audio). I know these guides will bring you value and I would love to keep you in the loop.
